Getting started

- Login or create an account using your email and password.

- Use the Home feed to see posts from people you follow and from groups you belong to.

- Use the left navigation to switch between views like News, Events, Jobs, etc.

Profile & privacy

- Open your profile to update your display name, city/state, birthdate, occupation, and profile picture.

- Careers & Interests: select the categories you care about (used for shortcuts).

- Your profile information is private and is not sold by the company.

Family Setup

- Family Setup is designed for parent/child accounts, where a parent can approve certain actions for a child.

- Open Family Setup from your account menu (top-right profile dropdown).

- Parent accounts can add family members and see each member’s pending approvals.

- Child accounts may see “Parent Pending” on actions like following someone or joining a group until approved.

- Once approved by the parent, a group join may still show as “Requested” until the group owner approves (if the group requires approval).

Posting

- Use “Share Something” to create a post. You can add text and (where available) media.

- You can interact with posts using Like, Comment, and Share.

Tagging friends

- Use the Tag Friends control under the composer to select friends to tag in your post.

- Your selections appear as a “Tagged: …” preview under the composer.

- Tagged names also display on the post itself as “Tagged: …”.

Groups

- Use the Groups section on the left to add a group (name, description, organization type, and category).

- “Suggested Groups for You” shows recent groups you can join; use Join to become a member.

- Group posts appear in your feed after you join that group.

Group Conversations

- Group Conversations let members chat within a group.

- If you see “Pending” on a group, you may need approval (group owner and/or parent approval for child accounts) before you can participate.

- Open a group, then use the conversation/chat area to read and send messages.

Scheduled Posts

- Scheduled Posts lets you write a post now and publish it on a chosen date.

- Use the Scheduled Posts item in the left navigation to view what’s queued.

Watch

- Watch shows available video content (where enabled).

ToDo List

- Use ToDo List to create tasks with due dates and project details.

- “Manage” under ToDo List provides additional organization controls.

Polls

- Create a poll and choose an audience (friends/followers/everyone).

- Poll results and voting appear directly in the feed.

Startups

- Startups is a dedicated area for startup-related content (where enabled).

Jobs

- Jobs lists job posts and supports applying (where enabled).

Marketplace

- Marketplace can be expanded from the left navigation.

- Use “+ Add Item” to create a listing; your items appear under the Marketplace section.

Shortcuts (interest filtering)

- The “Interest & Hobbies” list on the left can filter your Home feed by Post Category.

- Click the same shortcut again to clear the filter.

Messages & notifications

- Notifications show updates like likes, comments, and other activity.

- Messages allow you to send direct messages to other users (when enabled).

License & terms (basic)

This service uses standard social network user information that you provide (such as your email address, profile details, and content you post). This information is private and will not be sold by the company.

You are responsible for what you post. The company is not responsible for user-posted content. The company may remove users and posts that are found to be inappropriate.
